We’re delighted to share the Phoebe A. Hearst Museum‘s announcement about their upcoming hackathon, HackTheHearst, taking place September 10-21. The goal of HackTheHearst is to develop a compelling application and/or user interface for the digital collections data managed by CollectionSpace, which the Hearst Museum is making available through an API.

The Hearst is one of CollectionSpace’s earliest implementers, and we can’t wait to see what innovative apps come out of this event. More details and registration information can be found on the hackathon website: http://hackthehearst.berkeley.edu/.

Best of luck to the team at the Hearst for a great event!
