Thanks Chris,

We have found a few different issues related to advanced search that are
either fixed or on their way to being fixed. These include:

* After having searched a date field, it will continue to be searched
for even if you clear the field. This will result in a search error
(this looks like it could have been what happened for you)
* Repeatable fields aren't searchable via field level searches - doing
this will result in an error. This morning I have gone through all the
advanced search schemas to identify what fields are repetable. Since
these are unsearchable they should be hidden from UI until they work (I
believe this will happen with the upcoming nuxeo upgrade). The fields
are listed in this CSPACE-4384, and hopefully someone UI'ish (perhaps
me) will have time to get to them today.

I will look into your bug and check if it was indeed the result of one
of the above bugs.
